Beachin All Year Round
Summer might be officially over, but it never ends here in LA. Therefore, we must constantly be working on that “beach body”. Here are some tips and tricks below for a flat tummy any time of year! :)
Start the day off with a warm water and lemon to cleanse the body and reduce bloating.
Avoid high sodium foods before heading to the beach (or before putting on that crop top!!).
If you can’t make it to the gym or a class, break out your mat at home and do some ab work!
Some of my favorites:
Criss Cross: Starting in a chest lift position with legs at table top, take opposite elbow to opposite knee feeling a crunch into the oblique (side abs)!
Single Leg Stretch: Stay lifted in a chest lift and grab onto one shin extending the other leg out long, 2 pulses and switch legs! Feel that burn!!
Teaser: Extend both legs out at 60 degrees, lift your head neck and chest and roll up into a Teaser position reaching arms shoulder width apart long in front of the body. Belly is scooped; follow up with rolling back down to the ground and coming back into the teaser 8-10 times to feel those abs firing up!!
